What is Remote Online Notarization (RON)?

Any document permitted by your state for remote online notarization. Laws differ from state to state. 

•  Click the button above or click here.
•  Once you have signed up for a free account, click Request a Notary. 
• Click the stamp that has Glen Brown next to it. 
• Schedule a date and time. 
• Upload or drag and drop the document(s). 
• Check the box confirming you are requesting a RON. 
• In the Notes section add a good contact phone number for you. 
• Press “Request Notarization”. At that time, you will get a confirmation email. This email will help you prepared for your notarization session.
• Your notary will also get the request.
• You will then see this in the “Scheduling” menu at the top. Once the notary confirms the time and date, it will change to the “My Signings” Menu. If the time and date are conflicting with the notary, they will contact you to discuss a better option for both of you.
• In your My Signings page, you will see a link to join the session 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time. It is suggested that you start about 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time so you can complete your identity verification prior to the scheduled signing time.

A PC, Mac or laptop that has dependable internet and a video camera, speaker and microphone. Web browser such as Chrome, Firefox or Safari.

A RON partners with a third-party provider to perform the identity check. This is a two-step process. First there are a series of specific questions that you should know. Second, you will upload a picture of the front of your ID, Driver’s License or USA Passport. These will be run through and encrypted channel where it is analyzed, then your identity is authorized. Only confirmed authorized identity signers may proceed with the RON session.

The RON partners with an industry leader that keeps your identity verification, payment collection, encrypted data and video collected secure. 

When you connect following the email instructions you will meet your notary in a virtual meeting room. They will confirm your identity. Next you will fill in the required information, sign the document electronically and the notary will attach their notary seal/s. Once the document is complete the notary will close the session and the document will be available to you immediately afterward for you to print or download.

You will be required to pay via Cash App or Zelle before the session is started and confirmation of payment made.
